Following the success of their reality TV show The Casketeers, New Zealand’s most famous undertakers Francis and Kaiora Tipene have released a memoir – Life as a Casketeer.

Francis and Kaiora are the proprietors of Tipene Funerals in Auckland. In Life as a Casketeer the couple tell of growing up in Pawarenga and Kaitaia, meeting at Maori Teacher’s Training College, marriage and having children (five sons) and all the trials and tribulations of life and death.

Described as ‘inspirational, hilarious and wise’, the book promises to make you see dying, grief and remembrance in a new light.

Thanks to our buddies at Harper Collins Publishers NZ we have a copy of Life as a Casketeer to give away to one lucky winner!
